For the past two years, Hope Chapel has provided opportunities for each believer to read through the entire Bible in a year. In 2006, The Quest structured daily readings chronologically. In 2007, we utilized a program which took us through the New Testament with readings five days a week.
In 2008, we are excited to provide yet another program with eight (count ‘em: EIGHT) different ways for you to follow along.
We’ll be going through the entire Bible with daily readings from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs using the One-Year Bible format in the New Living translation, published by Tyndale.
For readers:
- We’ll provide a listing of the daily reading in our weekly bulletins. You can use your own Bible to stay on the plan. There’s also a printed document with the entire year’s plan available for your reference. Download it here.
- You may view the daily reading by going to the One Year Bible Online website, then navigating to the month and date you are looking for. Clicking the day's link will take you directly to the Bible Gateway verses for that day’s reading.

Recognizing that many people have difficulty finding the time to follow a reading plan with consistency, we have found an awesome resource for listening to the daily reading. Tom Dooley is a seasoned Christian broadcaster (aired locally in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex on 91.7 FM KVTT) who narrates the daily reading with insightful intros on his website, BibleOnRadio.com
At Tom’s website, you may listen to the daily reading directly on the site. You may also download each day’s reading to upload to your iTunes. You may also subscribe to Tom’s Podcast to have the readings uploaded to your iTunes automatically
